Rosada, the presidential palace and the Teatro Colón, ranked by National
Geographic to be the third best opera house in the world. It is also considered to be acoustically
among the five best concert venues in the world.
Also
you will not want to miss the chance to tour the Recoleta Cemetery, which is rated
by the BBC as the best cemetery in the world, and the one of the world’s 10
prettiest cemeteries by CNN. With over
4,500 above-ground vaults (94 of them are national historical monuments), the
country’s former presidents and the “First Lady of Argentina,” Eva Peron are
buried there. Many of the beautiful,
elaborate marble mausoleums and statues were sculpted by famous artists.
